Our Story
Maui Medical Ministry was born from pain—yet built on purpose.
Founded in 2002 by Dr. Andrea Mills, PhD, DNM, DD, a U.S. Army combat medic who served with distinction for 22 years, Maui Medical Ministry is the living legacy of one woman’s fight to heal the wounds that medicine alone could not reach. After suffering the effects of Gulf War Toxic inoculations, environmental toxins, and PTSD, Dr. Andrea discovered the power of functional medicine, quantum healing, and trauma-informed care.
Her recovery became her mission.
With decades of service and scientific training, Dr. Andrea brings unmatched credibility as both a warrior and a healer. Her transformation is proof that when conventional medicine fails—natural, Root Cause Protocols and therapies can restore what was lost.

After the devastating Lahaina wildfires of 2023, our clinic became a safe haven for those with burned bodies, broken spirits, and nowhere to turn. Maui Medical Ministry operates as a 508(c)(1)(A) Faith-Based Organization, which is a special classification under the U.S. Internal Revenue Code. This means:
We are a non-reporting, tax-exempt ministry by law.
We are not required to file for 501(c)(3) status because we are already recognized by the IRS as a church or religious organization.
We are fully protected by the First Amendment, allowing us to operate without interference or oversight from the government.
Are Donations Tax-Deductible?
Yes, in most cases they are. Under IRS Code Section 170(b)(1)(A)(i), donations made to "a church or a convention or association of churches" are considered tax-deductible charitable contributions, even without 501(c)(3) status.
